Are you
a born again believer?
Friend's, you can know
that you have a new life in Christ, there is no guess work involved.
A new heart and a new mind follows
the born again Christian, you find that you want to shout it to the tree
tops... that Jesus Christ!!! Is Lord of your life.
1 John 4:17-18 we are told that
our love is "made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment."
Question; Do you worry about your salvation?
Then your love is not made perfect In him.
We can have boldness when we come before the throne of God the Father in
prayer through Jesus. Why? because it is through Jesus Christ the
son of God and his righteousness and not our selves that we're saved..
To worry will only produces false fear and a self-righteousness
attitude. Self-righteousness, produces pride and God hates,
"proud !" He will crush any man with a proud spirit, for we are nothing
before Him and without Him (Ps 39:5; 62:9). ((God
cast Satan out of heaven for pride))
He hates pride because
it is evil, we should as christians, hate pride. (Proverbs 8:13 KJV AV1611)
Being self-righteousness can be, because we try and earn our
salvation by doing good works and being good enough. You cannot be good
enough! The flesh can say, "Look at me; look what I'm doing or look how
good I am."
Pride gives one an attitude
of superiority over others. A feeling of self-esteem that they are better
educated, better dressed, have more materiel things of this world. The
credit is all mine!!, is what the Self-righteous, heart and mind might
say. OOPS! where is Jesus in all
this?
The bible says, that "we're
as filthy rags" Isaiah 64:6,"We are all as an unclean thing, and all our
righteousness are as filthy rags."
Paul writes , "As it is written,
there is none righteous, no not one" (Romans 3:10) and he said that "All
have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
The Lord tells us to seek "the
kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all things will be added unto
[us]" (Matt. 6:33). Again Paul, counseled, "Let not then your good be evil
spoken of: For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness,
and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost" (Rom. 14:16-17).
We as christians should always
seek to be like Jesus, seeking righteousness through him and not ourselves,
only then can we as his children lay claim to the verse below.
But as many as received him,
to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe
on his name: (John 1:12 KJV AV1611)
Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting
life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto
life. (John 5:24 KJV AV1611)
"The Spirit itself beareth witness"
Rom.8:16). Jesus, the master, said it this way: "When the Comforter is
come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of Truth,
which proceedeth from the Father, HE SHALL TESTIFY OF ME" (John 15:26).
(1 Cor.12:13), and it is the
baptism of the holy Ghost that washes the soul from the stain of sin (Acts
22:16), removing even the desire for sin from the heart of man. The baptism
of the holy Ghost is the experience which makes man a new creature in Christ
Jesus,
If you have accepted the Lord
Jesus into your heart, then tell someone right away. Plant a seed and watch
it grow into a saved soul, for the Kingdom of God. We're living in the
last days people ,get ready for the return of our Lord and savior Jesus
Christ. Go spread the good news!!!!
For I am not ashamed of the gospel
of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth. . .(Rom 1:16a)
And blessed is he, whosoever
shall not be offended in me. Matt. 11:6
O my God, I trust in thee: let
me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. (Ps. 25:2)
O keep my soul, and deliver me:
let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. (Ps. 25:20)
For the scripture saith, Whosoever
believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (Rom 10:11
Yet if any man suffer as a Christian,
let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. (1 Pet
4:16)
Whosoever therefore shall be
ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation;
of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory
of his Father with the holy angels. Mark 8:38
{My quote of the month} Do
you know what the easiest thing in the world is.. for people to do? Blame
