The day of thunder, 9/11 changed
the life's of people all over the world. It is a day that will be remembered
until the Lord calls his children home, a day not unlike "The shot heard
around the world." {The British are coming'! The British are
comin'!} On April 19, 1775, the Americans were prepared to, and did, fight
for their liberty and freedom and 9/11 2001 Brought America to arms
once again. My heart goes out to all the people who lost loved ones when
the twin towers were rammed by airplanes high jacked by crazy men who thought
to put fear in the American people. A people who doesn't know the meaning
of QUIT!!, GIVE UP, BACK_DOWN! and war came. A war like none other,
in the history of the world. The economy has been going down and down
and I for one believe 9/11 was the beginning of birth pains
and will get even worse. The tribulation people is coming, get ready, get
ready!! for the coming King ..don't be left behind to face a world of darkness
and despair.
I was born in a time of no indoor plumping, no tvs and no stores at every corner. Cars were few and far between. I never saw a television until i was in my teens and it was a very tiny round, black and white one. Man I thought that was the grandest thing:-) all these little people caught in a tiny box. In today's world the invention of the television makes me think of the verses in the bible, because it is through that median... the bible can be fulfilled. Rev 1:7 "Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen." NIV Matt 24:30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory." NIV Ezek 30:3 "For the day is near, the day of the LORD is near- a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations." NIV. With television people all over the world will see his coming. Philip. 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. I guess to make a plain story as short as I can, I need to get to the point. The world is moving at such a fast pace that it is hard to keep up with the changes but sometimes we have to give it a good try. I remember talking to my friend Claire a while back, about being able to live with much of nothing. She and I had both heard that terrorist were looking at our water and food supply. I told her that I could make it if something did happen, because of the time i was born into. When I was little I learned to hunt in the woods for food. My mother or grandmother would give us all a sack and off to the woods we went to forge for greens and or roots. Poke was plentiful in spring time and could be fixed in many ways. Poke was and still is a poisonous plant but the young leaves can be eaten after cooking them using three changes of water. Poke is still used medicinally. "My brother-in-law still eats one pokeberry a year as a preventative to treat arthritis." also for other reasons i won't go into here. Dandelion blossoms can be made into a very tasty jam and or jelly. The root is an herb. Dandelion seeds are carried by the wind and spring up everywhere the seeds land, look in your yard, they can be very troublesome to get rid of. Lamb's Quarters and Dock are also early spring greens. Winter turnips are the best of the lot though. Cornmeal gravy, corn meal coffee and also cornmeal mush..oh and never forget the beans, oats and potato's. Wild onions grew in abundance, so did Gooseberry bushes, apple trees and pears. We got water from a spring and or well, no running water in our house. The only bathroom that I ever knew until i reached the age of 12 was a 6 foot 4 by 4 outhouse with two holes cut in a plank lying over two deep holes in the ground. Oh! boy how times have changed though, I sometimes
forget how old i am now and as long as i have lived with modern indoor
plumping and stores on almost every corner it's hard to go back. The reason
I am telling this story is that a few weeks ago my plumping went bad on
me and nothing I can do will fix it. There isn't enough money in
my income to pay for it. The cost is all most two thousand dollars
and not one plumper i called will fix it and take payments. Therefore i
have had to find a few places to go away from home. Yes, it is hard but
i just thought of what i had told Claire, that I could make it where others
couldn't and the Lord is showing me that life as it was in the so
called old age, isn't the same now and neither am i. To speak
something into the air will oft times bring it to past.. {Jesus replied,
"No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the
service of the Kingdom of God." Luke 9:62, NIV.
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our
weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself
intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. ) There is a time
coming when a loaf of bread will cost twenty dollars. I never thought I
would live to see that happen but it is so fast approaching and prices
are going up and will keep doing that until the day of the Lord. Proverbs

Pride is of the head, it has no place
in a heart that belongs to the lord. Did Jesus have pride when he went
to the cross? (Father, look what i am doing, i am so proud of me.!!)
No Jesus went to the cross, out of pure love for mankind. I don't think
there is a verse in the bible that ever spoke of pride in himself.
Get ready for the King is coming, in great glory!! Corinthians 13: 1-13:
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophesies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity." Charity means to love someone more then self, to be willing to go that extra mile. Hope is a pocket full of faith and when troubles of this world get you down, you just reach deep in that pocket and pull forth a little more hope. "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God."--Rom 10: 17." P.S,
ADDED a little later: Praise the Lord, my plumbing is fixed!!! if
my son in law and i had went a few more feet, the problem would have been
repaired, but the task seemed impossible to us after working on it for
weeks. We give up!! isn't that just like some christains?
