All you have to do is think about it, a type of antichrist is already at work in the world today. and the world is global in almost everything these days, Politics', economy and also religion and money. Just about every time you turn on your tv or read a newspaper, there is a new way to id a person. It is the norm now that most people can't do a thing now without their social security number. You have to have that number!!! you can't drive nor work without it. I just want to add to what was written above as I'm not really sure I have made myself clear to the reader. A soul in hebrew means Nephesh. Nephesh means breath and or life. The soul and the spirit is not the same. But one cannot exist without the other in a human being. In John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life the flesh profits nothing. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. When a person dies the Spirit of that person returns to God. The soul may die but not the Spirit. The Spirit is the essence of life itself. Psuchee means soul and is never used as the Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:23: Now may the God of Peace himself santify you entirely. And may your Spirit and Soul and body be preserved complete without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. James 5:20: Let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his ways will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. Spirit is the greek word Pneuma. In 1 John 4:2,3: This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God. Every Spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. But every Spirit that does not acknowledge that Jesus is not from God this is the Spirit of the antichrist which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. Read Daniel chapter 9: Daniel says that this antichrist will come out of the revived Roman Empire go and is going to sign a seven year treaty with the Nation of Israel. And this seven year treaty is going to run its course according to prophecy three and a half years of peace and then what? Think about all the suffering from the very beginning of man until right this minute as your reading this, now imagine it all rolled up into just three and a half years, because Daniel says in the middle of that seven year treaty, the Antichrist is going to turn on Israel And he's going to set himself up as God to be worshiped as God in the very Temple in Jerusalem that will, of course, by that time be rebuilt.
That should give you, the reader a good idea of what this Antichrist is and what he is going to do. This Antichrist will cause all both great and small to have a mark in their forehead or right-hand, this number will be the number of man 666, you can't buy food for your family without this mark, you can't work without this mark. Most id cards or social security numbers can be stolen and used by other people and therefore the number will be implanted into your skin and for the rest of your life, you will carry... the MARK OF THE BEAST!
